Meet Your Inspector
Dan Weiss
I am a certified home inspector in Macomb County serving Macomb, Oakland, and St. Clair counties. I am a member of the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI). I grew up on the east side of Detroit until the mid-80’s and graduated from Sterling Heights Stevenson. I currently live in Macomb Township with my wife. I have 3 grown children and family is a big part of my life.
I am a Detroiter through and through – during good times and bad. I enjoy maintaining my home, as my wife (and neighbors) will tell you, as they see me outside most of the time either pulling weeds, painting or some other form of maintenance that comes with owning a home. I enjoy educating my clients on how their home works. You will not hear technical terms that you don’t understand like Deflection (sagging of roof/floors) or Service Lateral (underground electricity). In fact, some of you may have a better technical vocabulary.
What I will provide is an easy-to-understand professional examination of the condition and safety of your future investment. You will have my undivided attention; I rarely will have more than one inspection the day of your inspection. I believe that home inspections are an essential part of the home buying process, and I am committed to helping my clients make informed decisions about their home purchases
Education Experience
During the home inspection, I will show you how everything in your house works and how to maintain it. I encourage questions throughout the inspection.
